Sustainability

Sustainability and Energy Investments

For VR Plast, sustainability means taking concrete action on production processes through investments aimed at improving operational efficiency, energy consumption and the quality of the working environment over time.

In this context, the installation of a photovoltaic system was carried out as part of the Emilia-Romagna Regional FESR 2021–2027 programme and forms part of a broader project focused on production development and digital transition.

The system contributes to the generation of renewable energy and represents an initial step towards reducing the company’s overall energy impact.

A Path of Continuous Development

The introduction of the photovoltaic system is part of an ongoing development process that also includes the use of more energy-efficient machinery, greater attention to more sustainable materials and the improvement of internal environmental conditions.

VR Plast intends to continue developing this direction over time through progressive initiatives focused on the continuous evolution of processes, technologies and materials.

The objective is to build a more efficient and controlled production system capable of combining sustainability and operational efficiency without introducing unnecessary complexity.

More than a declared principle, this is a concrete path already underway, intended to strengthen over the years through consistent technical and organisational choices.
