Quality, Health and Safety

VR Plast Srl’s mission is to manufacture plastic or aluminium components for machinery in general, working in partnership with its suppliers and customers. The company develops and uses technologies that are efficient in terms of the quality of the required and manufactured product, with increasing attention to health and safety conditions in the workplace.

Principles

The principles adopted by VR Plast Srl as a reference for Quality, Health and Safety include:

• compliance with current occupational health and safety legislation, ISO 45001 standards for health and safety, and ISO 9001 standards for quality management;
• the preparation and communication of implementation guidelines for health and safety protection and quality, to be followed by the organisation;
• the promotion of employee participation in risk prevention, health and safety protection, and the safeguarding of working conditions for themselves, their colleagues and third parties;
• personnel training in compliance with all regulations relating to health and safety in the workplace;
• the organisation’s commitment to the constant prevention of accidents, injuries and occupational diseases;
• meeting stakeholder expectations as a fundamental condition for creating value and promoting sustainable development.

Commitments

VR Plast Srl is committed to translating these principles into concrete actions by:

• implementing an Integrated Management System for Quality, Health and Safety in line with European and international standards;
• providing continuous training and awareness activities for management and all personnel on workplace safety and quality;
• working with pre-qualified and certified suppliers for quality, health and safety aspects, while raising their awareness of occupational health and safety issues from a continuous improvement perspective;
• building relationships of mutual trust with customers by offering high value-added services and ensuring supply reliability;
• maintaining dialogue with authorities and communities, and collaborating with institutions while ensuring maximum fairness and transparency in relationships and providing complete, reliable and clear information;
• adopting tools for analysing accidents and near misses in order to identify their causes and prevent recurrence;
• protecting the health of employees and third parties accessing its facilities by maintaining healthy working environments, using low-risk products and scheduling periodic medical examinations for employees.

Reporting

• Periodic publication of results and performance indicators relating to health and safety and quality;
• Disclosure of analyses of incidents relating to occupational safety;
• Communication of audit process results.

All employees of VR Plast Srl, and in particular the appointed persons responsible for their respective areas of competence, are required to monitor and periodically verify that the principles and commitments set out above are respected.
